Saturday, June 19th, from 8:30AM-4:30 PM, volunteers will work with USFS crew members to log out sections of Buff Pass with downed trees, likely on Soda Mountain and/or Flash of Gold. Note that this project will last most of the day on Saturday and you should be prepared for many miles of hiking. This is geared towards volunteers who have been with us for chainsaw clearing projects in the past or have experience with timber work, not appropriate for young kids.

Volunteers MUST sign up in advance and complete their waiver at https://forms.gle/C3BcXsi1gFTQoM1c7

Signups will close prior to the weekend and we will be in touch with more details. You will want to bring a backpack with PLENTY of drinking water, snacks, work gloves, earplugs, eye protection, sun protection, sturdy hiking boots, and long sleeves. Lunch will be provided.
