Work will again occur on Buffalo Billy’s, a several-miles-long section of new trail designed to connect from the bridge on middle Flash of Gold to the top of Grouse. The trail meanders through high alpine meadows and across rocky outcrops that will make for a fun and flowy build.

Volunteers can find their own way to arrive at the worksite on Saturday morning. We will meet at a campsite on Rocky Flats (9-ish miles from downtown, 4-ish miles from Dry Lake up the Buff Pass Road) to grab tools and get going at 9:00 AM. Keep an eye out for the RCR Banner!

There is a good amount of parking but it’s certainly not unlimited, so plan ahead and snag someone in your “home unit” to carpool with – or have your family drop you and your bike off to work and ride down at the end of the day. Lastly, you can pedal up if you’re feeling hardcore! If you drive, keep in mind that the road is very bumpy and rutted – recommended 4wd and a good amount of clearance. It takes 30 minutes or so to get here from Dry Lake by car
