We know – it’s been a long road for the Mad Rabbit Trails Project. But we’re here to tell you that $1.6 million in funding for local trails is at stake (yes, again) if we don’t SHOW UP later this month when City Council will formally vote to allocate those funds. Please mark your calendars for this upcoming City Council meeting. We are asking that our members and supporters show up in person (or virtually, via Zoom) in order to see that $1.6 million of intended funding is successfully allocated by YOUR elected officials. At this point in the game, this is the most valuable contribution you can make to the success of this project – showing up at City Council on 6/17. The meeting starts at 5:00 PM in the Citizens’ Meeting Room in Centennial Hall (124 10th St).
We will ask that our members and supporters send positive public comments in advance if they are absolutely unable to attend.
