RCR has played an instrumental role in the progression of the Mad Rabbit Trails Project, enriching and improving the trail network around Steamboat Springs funded by the 2A Accommodations Tax. The Forest Service has completed their Environmental Assessment for the next phase of the project and have presented a draft plan that would include 50+ miles of new trails around Steamboat, mainly in the Rabbit Ears vicinity. It is crucial to show support for this project by submitting positive, constructive public comment before the deadline of 11/22.
