Join us on National Public Lands Day for a volunteer trail work session with our Moffat County friends from 8:30AM-12:30PM at Cedar Mountain in Craig. Please sign up in advance and complete your waiver at – https://routtcountyriders.org/volunteer/
We will meet at the main Cedar Mountain trailhead at 8:30 AM Saturday morning. Look for the RCR trailer! We will have some snacks for your packs, extra bottled water for folks who need it, and other goodies to grab before you start work.
What to bring/wear –
- substantial clothing that protects you from sun, dirt, elements. Closed-toed shoes are necessary. Pants are better than shorts.
- a backpack with PLENTY of water for the morning, a rain/wind layer, a hat, eye protection (sunnies), and your own work gloves. Hand blisters are no fun. If you have some ear plugs you are comfortable in, throw them in your pack in case you are working near the weed whacker or a chainsaw.
We will wrap up work around 12:30 and will provide lunch + drinks (both boozy and non-boozy). Please let us know if you have any specific dietary restrictions prior to COB Thursday in order to accommodate. [email protected]
