DESCRIPTION:When: Tuesday\, June 18 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm\nWhere: Community Room at Old Town Hot Springs (136 South Lincoln Ave.)\nHosted in partnership with the Routt County Multi-Modal Road Use Advisory BoardBoth bicyclists and motorists can learn from this 1.5-hour interactive course that covers laws for both road users\, how to navigate on-street bicycle infrastructure and how to avoid common crashes. \nUpon successful completion of the course\, participants will receive a Bicycle-Friendly Driver certificate\, a sticker to display on their vehicle\, and the option to pledge to be a Bicycle-Friendly Driver. \nPlease email Molly\, community safety coordinator for Bicycle Colorado\, with any questions at molly@bicyclecolorado.org

DESCRIPTION:Join us for some maintenance work on Ridge Trail. \nWe will be meeting at the Blackmere Drive Trailhead\, and shuttling some volunteers to the top of Ridge. Others will start at the bottom of Ridge and hopefully we can meet in the middle! \nBring gloves\, closed-toe shoes\, sunscreen\, hat\, water\, and eye protection. This is a great way to renew your membership\, reconnect with your bike friends\, and learn about the latest events from RCR! \nThe film follows 5 Australians as they attempt to bike from Oklahoma to California\, in honor of John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath.  \nAdditionally\, we’ll be showing a fantastic short film from Big Agnes. Be inspired by the CDT through the eyes of 70 employees who hiked through Colorado together. \nTickets are $10 in advance\, or $5 at the door for RCR members\, $10 at the door for non-RCR members.
