DESCRIPTION:We’re putting some work in on Buffalo Pass getting it ready for a season of shredding! We’ll be working along side the sawyers and clearing out the trails behind them. The day starts at Dry Lake parking lot at 8:00 AM. \nNote that this project will last most of the day on Saturday and you should be prepared for many miles of hiking. This is geared towards volunteers who have been with us for chainsaw clearing projects in the past or have experience with timber work\, not appropriate for young kids. \nVolunteers MUST sign up in advance and complete their waiver  Signups will close prior to the weekend and we will be in touch with more details. \n\nYou will want to bring a backpack with PLENTY of drinking water\, snacks\, work gloves\, earplugs\, eye protection\, sun protection\, sturdy hiking boots\, and long sleeves. \n\nLunch and post work beverages will be provided.

DESCRIPTION:MOOTS RANCH RALLY 2022\nMoots is excited to relaunch the world-renowned Ranch Rally. This year’s Rally will use the gravel roads right outside the Moots factory doors – the same roads and mountain views that have inspired our bikes for more than 40 years. The NEW RANCH RALLY has two courses\, either a 72- or 52-mile route\, both are almost 100% gravel and will include a few competitive timed segments for those that want to test their mettle. What hasn’t changed is the warm hospitality that the local ranch community has extended to all riders over the years. \nEntries are limited in order to keep it small and relaxing as you ride your way through Routt County.  \nWe ride rain or shine!  \n

DESCRIPTION:This April\, Mountain Tap Brewery and Routt County Riders will bond over two shared loves – bikes and beer! We’ll join hands to create a new collaborative beer with a distinctly local flavor\, and celebrate its release with a tapping event on Friday 4/29 from 3:00-9:00 PM. Introducing Prickly Pedal – a refreshingly quenching\, crushably hydrating session-style beer brewed with prickly pear cactus fruit. Tip one back as a “recovery beverage” after a long spring trip out to the desert\, to celebrate the start of what is sure to be another epic summer of riding!\n\nOn 4/29 from 3:00-9:00 PM\, the kegs will flow with Prickly Pedal on tap for the first time. $1 per beer will support RCR programs and outreach in the community until the kegs run out – enjoy Prickly Pedal while it lasts! Wheels Bike Shop will be set up outside of the brewery about 3-7 PM on 4/29 providing free bike diagnostics and safety checks. Bring your rig (or your kid’s) for a once-over by the pros to start getting them dialed for the season. In the distance you can see the bright front lights\, headlamps and flashing red tail lights reflecting off the snow showing the riders progress. \nShort or long courses are available. The courses and distances may vary from race to race depending on snow conditions. \nAfter the ride everyone meets up at the Lake Catamount Club House Restaurant for a satisfying burger (or vegetarian option)\, cold beer (or non alcohol beverage) and let the story telling begin!
