We will spend the morning finishing the final details on the completed bridges by adding rock and dirt to the existing ramps. DESCRIPTION:We are looking for volunteers to lend their Saturday morning to corridor clearing and drainage work\, with some tread work to be done on Sunshine Trail on the Resort. Come prepared to get your hands dirty by moving some dirt! \nPlan to meet at the base of the gondola by 9:00am – make sure to bring work gloves and eye protection as well as layers\, sunscreen\, bug spray and plenty of water! We will take the gondola up and walk along Sunshine Trail. Each volunteer will receive a comped Bike Park pass to use any day during the remainder of the 2024 season! \nAs always\, lunch and drinks will be provided for our awesome volunteers! DESCRIPTION:Due to staffing conditions\, our Chains Clinic is cancelled. We will update you when we have a new date. \nJoin RCR for a women’s-focused series where we learn the basics of on-trail bike maintenance! Back for our second season\, Tech Tuesdays will aim to provide technical support and knowledge to female-identifying mountain bikers. This 3-part series will start from the basics of fixing common trail problems including changing tires\, adjusting brakes\, troubleshooting chains as well as going over common trail etiquette practices and making solid gear choices. \nTuesday\, June 18th – Tires \nTuesday\, July 16th – Brakes \nTuesday\, August 6th – Chains *cancelled* \nThis series compliments the popular Women’s Skills Clinics put on by Ski & Bike Kare and takes place on the days when these events are not held to fit perfectly into your schedule. Our beginner-friendly series is an excellent way to meet more like-minded bikers and gain confidence on the trail. Feel free to sign up for all three or just one! \nFood & drinks will be provided.
