We’re kicking off a new monthly group ride\, designed to be mellow\, social\, and on low-traffic\, scenic routes. \n🚴 August 11th\, 5:00-7:00pm\nThis will be a relaxed\, no-drop ride with a focus on enjoying the ride together. Ride leaders from Steamboat Velo and Routt County Riders will help ensure a great experience for all. \nTo keep things smooth\, we’ll share the route in advance and ask riders to RSVP below so we have a good idea of attendance. Groups will be small with staggered starts\, and we’ll have designated regroup points along the way. All participants will be asked to follow our Rider Responsibility Code to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. \nChoose Your Pace Group:To make the ride fun for everyone\, please choose the group that best matches your comfort and experience level: \n\n🟢 Group C – 5:15 PM – Newer or casual riders. Relaxed pace\, lots of support with shorter distance options.\n🔵 Group B – 5:20 PM – Intermediate riders. Steady pace\, social but with a little push.\n🔴 Group A – 5:30 PM – Advanced riders. DESCRIPTION:The 24HR Boat Cruise is back for their 19th year! \nA fun-filled bike ride of teams competing to raise money for early childhood education. Proceeds go to a non-profit\, Integrated Community (CIIC)\, to provide early childhood education services to immigrant children.  The purpose is to elevate our entire NW Colorado community through education. Our goal is to raise $100\,000.00 for these vital services. \n\n\nTeams of 6 riders pedal a 12 mile course through Steamboat for 24 hours \n\n\nTeams raise money by competing for sponsorships and pledges.  The team that raises the most money WINS! \n\n\nBoth adults and children are invited to ride and wear costumes. Bring a friend and keep Routt clean!\n\nWe’ll be meeting at the River Creek Park parking lot (across Highway 40 from Walton Creek Road) on September 3rd at 4:30 PM\, and then caravan-ing to our stretch of Highway 131\, about halfway between Steamboat & Oak Creek (mile markers 60-62).\n\nWEAR BRIGHT CLOTHES and dress for the elements with closed-toed shoes and work gloves.
