In celebration of National Trails Day, Routt County Riders will be hosting a volunteer work day on Rotary and Ridge Trails. Most of the work will involve cutting back branches and overgrown sections of trail. We will meet at the parking lot at 9am, and work until the corridor is cleared or around 1pm, whichever we reach first! Definitely bring your bike or hiking shoes to cover more ground.
Please bring gloves, eye protection, hat, sunscreen, water and snacks. Tools will be provided, but if you feel so inclined to bring your personal loppers or pruners for ergonomic or sentimental purposes, please do.
Sign the Volunteer Waiver Here.
What is even more fun than working on trails with your friends? Hanging out with them for a beer afterwards!
Meet us and volunteers from other trail events at Storm Peak Brewing from 5-7pm on Saturday to celebrate our hard work and amazing trails, RCR swag will be given to those who volunteered (must have dirty fingernails as proof). Check out the Facebook event here.
